Mark Blaine and Lisa Thompson-Blaine are college sweethearts that have built a beautiful family together. They are raising six wonderful children together. They have worked hard to give their kids the best start in life possible. However, the Blaine family has been through quite an ordeal these last few months.

Mark suffered a devastating stroke in July, taking him out of work for several months. This left Lisa, his wife, to support the family on her part-time job while caring for her husband and children. Mark was just beginning to get back to work in October when Lisa and Mark found out that their daughter, Mackenzie, has Thyroid cancer. She is undergoing surgery to have her Thyroid and over 50 lymph nodes removed. Mackenzie is a 17 year old junior in high school with her whole life ahead of her.

With staggering medical bills from Mark's stroke and now from Mackenzie's surgery and treatments, the Blaine family needs their community now more than ever. We are just some of Lisa's friends and coworkers doing everything we can to help such an amazing family. Lisa has been a wonderful friend and coworker for years, and she has never hesitated to help anyone. Her smiling face has always brightened up our days. Her family is her whole world. With six children and the holidays just around the corner, we want to do everything possible for them.
