International Silver Stick Finals
Tax deductible
The Bloomington Blades Youth Hockey Association asks for your immediate support to help us send three teams to compete in the International Silver Stick Finals in Pelham, Ontario in early January.
This prestegious youth hockey tournament originated almost 60 years ago with a goal of "promoting citizenship and international goodwill though hockey." Teams must advance through regional tournaments to win a chance to compete in the finals, and for the first time ever the Bloomington Blades have advanced three teams from the Fort Wayne regionals.
Your tax-deductible donation will help 50 players aged 8 to 14, their families, and their volunteer coaches experience this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete for an international championship, and will help the Association continue to achieve its mission to help children develop athletic skills, a sense of citizenship, sportsmanship, and fair play through hockey.
