- As many of you know I'm a licensed veterinary technician. On a daily basis I care for and treat the emergencies of others' pets. Now I'm on the other end. My beautiful young boy, Bajie, needs emergency surgery at Cornell Animal Hospital for a ruptured bladder. It was no one's fault, just a freak accident that isn't seen much in general practice. He jumped wrong and landed on his full bladder, which then tore. This has caused him to become very ill. He is currently hospitalized awaiting surgery. The total cost of treatment is $4-6000. Part of this has already been paid, as I had an emergency fund prepared. However, it will not cover all of it. Cornell does not offer discounts to veterinary professionals, so I am reaching out to anyone who would be willing to donate to his cost of treatment. There isn't much I can offer in return except my immense gratitude and what knowledge I have as an LVT to help you out in any way I can in the future. Thank you ❤️
