A group of friends in their mid-20s reunite to celebrate New Years', but what was meant to be a stress-free vacation, soon turns into a learning experience for everyone.
Hello, my name is Alena Drake and my co-creator is Ashayla Blakely. We're currently in pre-production for an independent feature film, Blackview: The Movie. We've created a GoFundMe to help cover our production expenses. All donations will go towards equipment, props, set design, locations, nutritious food for our cast/crew, distribution costs, film festival entries, and any other miscellaneous costs.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated and would help show the perspective of Black young adults navigating through the growing pains of adulthood. To show our sincere appreciation, we’d like to offer something special for your generosity and support:
$30- a digital copy of the film once completion
$50 - a thank you card signed by cast and crew
$100 - special acknowledgment in the credits
$200 - a framed copy of the script signed by cast and crew
