Support Adam Blackmon and his Family during his recovery

On Wednesday, July 30, 27 year old Adam Blackmon, who is autistic, suffered serious, life threatening traumatic injuries that required him being care flighted to a Metroplex hospital. He is recovering and has been moved to a step down unit but still has a trach.

Adam is well known and loved throughout the area. His father pastors East Post Oak Baptist Church and both he and Adam are members of East Post Oak Volunteer Fire Department. His mother, Holly was a much loved teacher until recent retirement.

Adam was a founding member of Paris EMS Reserves Auxiliary where he overcame his anxiety in order to help others. He served until reserves were disbanded.

The Blackmon family have been there for others time after time, through tragedy and joy.

East Post Oak VFD have started a Gofundme account to aid this family with the substantial expenses insurance doesn’t cover. Holly is staying with Adam all the time and family members are going back and forth constantly. Fuel, meals, non covered medical expenses mount up.
