Black-Love Mural Festival 2021

Tax deductible

The Black Love Mural Festival (BLMF) is a festival featuring black creatives. We will highlight local creatives as well as artists from outside Colorado. The 60+ murals makes us the only black mural festival in the country. Walls will be placed from Bannock St. to N. Broadway spread throughout Civic Center Park. Check out the impact we had on local creatives via testimonials & all our media coverage from 2020 via the links below https://youtu.be/NRxSa2IECEc & https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CDjnSImNFiZ_6B7eJ1vKK1nkvfZhMxpS-0aOCuFk6rc/edit

  • JUNE 6TH: Chocolate Sundays @ the park
  • JUNE 13TH: Chocolate Sundays @ the park
  • JUNE 19TH: Juneteenth celebration
  • JULY 10TH - 18TH MLB: All-Star Week

Last year the festival brought foot traffic to the park and kept the community engaged by allowing unique public works of art to be on display. We will host workshops, live painting , and activations like jazz in the park every weekend until Juneteenth. We will celebrate Juneteenth at the Greek Amphitheater with music, comedy, and community. Murals to stay up until our closing ceremony August 1st. Our goal for the Black-Love Mural festival is to show love to black creative community.
