I am a teacher from London who got involved with the movement as I felt angry that our voices were not being heard. After receiving hundered of messages, I realised that the thing missing was education, change and life beyond the protests. This is the area I am most concerned about. When the hashtags go away and people attempt to return to normal life. We have seen it before, why are we back in this very place?
We would like to focus on life beyond the protests and would like to focus on the ongoing changes which can be implemented across the UK to support the movement. In our opinion, education is essential and the younger this begins the better. We have began to work on a project, which will incorporate raising our young kings and queens up to their platforms as well as educating children of all ethnicities.
We have decided to focus on the positives of everyone coming together and have made the decision to embrace the timing to support people in their communities.
We have managed to build a platform to communicate with others during our work with the movement and would like your support to continue to grow, eventually creating an ongoing curriculum that can be incorporated and taught in schools across the UK.
Finally, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support with everything. I am beyond thankful for the unity I have witnessed.
