The Blackfriars greatest shave

Join teachers and students from Blackfriars Priory School as they brave the shave in support of the Mary Potter foundation. The shave will take place at our school on Wednesday 7th April. Please donate what you can to this worthy cause. All your donations are very much appreciated.

What is the Mary Potter Foundation...?

Mary Potter Care is about living every day, every hour. We believe it is about comfortable facilities and the loving care which is individual and meaningful in the final months, weeks and days of life. The team is dedicated to caring for the whole person from their medical needs, to social, spiritual and emotional needs – it is truly holistic care at its best.

The Mary Potter Foundation raises money to support the care – firstly to subsidise the cost of medical care and then importantly to provide all of the additional support from extra staff, to complementary therapy, music therapy, a creative arts program, pet therapy, Life Stories program, a family kitchen so that you can make a sandwich, have a coffee or enjoy delicious treats any time of the day or night. We don’t get any government funding so without your help the Hospice would not be able to offer all of the additional support that is valued by so many. We really want people to know about the living that happens in Mary Potter Hospice – every day.
