Hello everyone,


I am a 22 year old black trans nonbinary organizer living in the Durham/Chapel Hill area of North Carolina in need of immediate help. 


Last week (7/10/2020) I suffered a traumatic car accident in Raleigh, NC that resulted in my only mode of transportation being totaled. I was not physically injured thankfully, but due to the fact that my car was older, insurance refused to cover the cost of repairs. 


Although  l live in the Durham/Chapel Hill area, I work in Raleigh which is a 30+ minute commute that I make pretty much daily. Getting to work this last week has been incredibly stressful while not having reliable transportation. 


I am an hourly worker and absolutely cannot afford to purchase a car with my current income alone. I do not have parents or family members to rely on for financial help, nor to cosign for a vehicle for me. If I do not have transportation, I essentially do not have income. This is my only option. 


I have a set goal of around $5000 needed to purchase a reliable, used vehicle. I will need to have transportation by August 3rd, 2020. 


I am asking to please give anything if you can. If you cannot give, PLEASE BOOST this as much as possible. It is greatly needed!
