My name is Amethyst and I am a Black Transgender Woman living in nyc. I am looking to undergo gender affirming surgeries and I am seeking out help to cover the costs of having access to them being that I am uninsured. For the past eight years, I’ve been supporting my transition on my own and even though all of this time has passed, I still experience a great amount of discomfort and gender dysphoria that would be greatly relieved by this process. I am reaching out for support to help me on my way to living the life of my dreams. The total amount asked will cover the cost of surgery as well as transportation to and from the hospital, necessary post-operative doctor’s visits, aftercare including food and medication.
