My name is Luna.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my situation, and any of the support you're able to offer, whether through financial support or sharing.

Right now my mental health is really suffering. Its really hard for me to meet new people, develop relationships and connections to others and ask for help. Its hard for me to find work. Hard for me to even think about chasing my dreams.

I'm exhausted. Imagine being expected to explain something really personal and vulnerable about yourself whenever you walk into a room. That in and of itself is exhausting. Then, imagine that people treat your reality as an inconvenience and a burden. Right now a lot of my trans visibility stems from my voice.

Getting voice feminization surgery could change my reality. I want the world to validate who I am as a woman, and this surgery would greatly support this. I'd feel more confident going out in public, talking to people on the phone, meeting new people, building relationships, working towards my goals in the music industry.

Right now is a really hard time for trans people, especially black trans women. Every year we are getting our lives taken away. We are being told that we should not exist in public spaces by governments, policies, and it's getting worse. I don't want to feel unsafe in this world anymore.

I'm inviting people into this opportunity of justice. This is an opportunity to do a tangible action of trans solidarity, that goes beyond words.

All funds will go to the surgery itself and vocal training post-op. I would love to reach my goal by the end of the summer/early fall 2025.
