Black Trans Family NEEDS Help Escaping HAZARDOUS Housing

A Black, Trans found family (Sophia, Imani A. and their cat) needs immediate HELP to move out of a mold infested apartment that is worsening Sophia's autoimmune disorder and chronic illness. They recently have noticed a steep decline in their health, which has been debilitating for both of them. It has been especially hard on Sophia, who is navigating chronic illness and is autoimmune. After seeing mold and water damage, and having alarming symptoms, they both became concerned about the possibility of mycotoxin poisoning. Mycotoxin testing concluded that there was mold in the living space. They now must move for their well-being because Sophia's health is declining fast.

They both are constantly suffering from fatigue. Imani sometimes has dizzy spells so bad she can't stand. Sophia, whose body is more vulnerable, is frequently bedridden. Sophia is also constantly suffering from abdominal pain, vertigo, and even more fatigue than usual. Imani is Sophia's primary caretaker, and her declining health as a result of the mycotoxin poisoning is also affecting her ability to care for Sophia. This has exacerbated the already inaccessible living space into something that is nearly impossible and dangerous to interact with.

Imani and Sophia can no longer afford to live in the state where they currently reside because of gentrification and inflation. They must find accessible housing in a more affordable state, which is extremely hard. They need help for moving costs.
