Help Black, trans, disabled activist stay housed!

Donation protected
Hello friends !

I’m currently fundraising for a friend of mine who would like to remain anonymous at this time. They are a Black, trans, disabled community organizer who recently lost their main source of income. Their work is rooted in Disability Justice and providing direct aid to Black and Indigenous people, and has empowered many to practice reparations and envision liberation from capitalist systems. The funds raised will be used for Oct/Nov housing, bills and food security for their small family as they pursue new employment - they just need a little support bridging the gap!

Breakdown of funds needed:
$750 - past due Sept. bills
$1,500 - Oct. 1st housing
$800 - Oct. bills, groceries, medications
$1,500 - Nov. 1st housing
$800 - Nov. bills, groceries, medications
= $5,350 total

Please invest financially and energetically! We need help spreading the word, so circulate this mutual aid ask anywhere you’re able: directly to friends/family, mutual aid groups/threads, twitter, facebook, discord, reddit, etc. Please consider posting directly to your IG feed, not just stories. Interact on instagram here: (https://www.instagram.com/p/CxqkXx4RpGK/)

Keep in mind that Gofundme charges fees (2.9% + $0.30 per contribution). If you’d like your full contribution amount to reach the recipient, consider sending via direct pay links (in IG post linked above) or rounding up to cover the fee.

Thank you in advance for your energy, time, and contributions! We take care of each other.
