black to black, gift of life fundraiser

Hi my name is Lorraine and I am in need of a life saving kidney transplant. I am currently in the Irish kidney transplant list but unfortunately they are finding it very difficult to get me a match. The Irish kidney transplant team have decided that my best chance in getting a perfect match is to send my to Coventry on a paired kidney exchange scheme. This is where my fabulous sister, Gillian comes into it. Because Gillian is not a direct match to me,  she will donate her kidney to someone in the UK and in return I will receive a kidney from someone in the UK. As both procedures will happen exactly the same time, we both will need to be away from our precious families for a significant amount of time (anything from 2-6 weeks, non funded). As you can imagine that the cost of living with hygienical approved accommodation would be very expensive. This is why we need you help and support. Any donations, big or small will help this worthy cause.
