Black queer student in need of urgent funds!

Donation protected
My name is Jazkia, I'm 19, and I'm organizing this campaign for my education and living expenses this semester. I would be using these funds to continue my education at Mills College, where I'm studying Ethnic Studies with a double minor in Education and Queer Studies. I'm a first gen college student and a Black queer woman trying to survive right now and beyond education, these funds would help me pay my bills as well as buy basic life necessities.

I don't really know how to ask for money, but I'm getting desperate at this point. Capitalism sucks, and so does private education, but my life is currently dependent on both of those systems and I have no other choice but to exist in them so I might as well follow their guidelines right now. There are a lot of other options in the world that would allow me to move out of my parents house, but college is the most feasible mode of "escape" for me right now. I can't attend online classes, do homework, and try to improve my mental health in my current home environment, which is why I need to be on campus this fall. I was only able to attend less than two months of instruction on campus before everyone was sent home due to COVID-19, but in that short amount of time I began to see a positive change in my mental health, and the healing process felt more realistic as I was taken out of the environment that perpetuated those awful thoughts I couldn't shake in high school.

just another reminder, funds would go to:

-tuition
-housing
-phone bill
-menstrual products
-school supplies
-etc.

Anything helps :)
