Black Panther Challenge (NC)
Donation protected
Hello friends my name is Tracey Suggs Co-Founder Of Protect Your Skull, LLC and I am a resident of Charlotte, NC. My goal is to take as many kids in cities like Charlotte, Elkin, RDU, Greensboro, Fayetteville, Winston Salem, and Goldsboro, NC (my hometown) to see Black Panther as possible. In communities where many of our youth are surrounded by crime, poverty, social challenges this a much needed escape. The #BlackPantherChallenge movement was started by Frederick Joseph and it has motivated people like myself to be a part of this cultural phenomenon here in North Carolina. As children, our imaginations and our creativity flourish. As a result the images that you see of yourself and your culture on the big screen in movies, on television, and in books shape your world view. It’s of the highest importance that we see ourselves portrayed as powerful, intelligent, loving, successful, and as leaders in our world communities. I want the youth in our community to have a moment to @Dream Beyond Fear” in a peaceful atmosphere full of fun energetic enthusiasm. The Black Panther Movie is already an event of monumental proportions. The story will touch so many areas of our cultural experiences mentally, socially, economically, and generationally. That’s why I am so excited about Marvel’s release of the Black Panther Movie! It is a must see for our youth. Thank you for your donations as we will continue this movement as long as Marvel’s Black Panther is in theaters.
