People choice printing needs your help

My business which I started in 2006 with the goal of printing apparel and promotional items, and teaching the trade to youth in the Bay Area is in danger of shutting its doors permanently. After Covid decimated almost all of my clients needs for printing I was forced to shut doors during the state mandated shelter in place orders. I have since April been unable to afford the shop rent and the owners have been nice enough to not only reduce my rent, but not charge me late fees, and have given me until September first to pay all back rent off. This past weekend my shop was vandalized when someone thru a red, and blue painted construction sign through my window;  which displayed black lives matter black owned business signs, and had I love being black shirts displayed in the window. Thousands of dollars in merchandise and personal items was stolen, and my insurance high deductible puts me out of pocket for some of the loss, and the window replacement won’t be covered at all. I’m gonna have to order and reprint items for customers and come out of pocket for repairs. These unforeseen additional costs puts my company at even more risk of shutting down.

In edition to the Covid revue loss and damage from after a protest my youth prints internship, is in jeopardy as well. Youth prints is where I teach young high school students graphic design, printing, marketing, and business development may also end if I can’t keep doors open I can’t offer this anymore. I’m proud of all my interns and previous ones have done things like help organize the OAKLAND tech protest, or gone on to go to college majoring in graphic design, or started there own company’s. High schools  like Metwest depend on business like mine to take students twice a week for a full day to do there internship, and I would hate to not be able to offer this program in the fall when I know schools are already gonna be dealing with crowed classrooms and will be looking to find was to promote social distance learning more. Any help will greatly be appreciated.

My goal is to raise 10,000 for the damaged and lost property and new security system, and 25k for rent for Covid relief, but really it will prob be more like 2.9% goes to go fund me so that leaves 24,850. 10k to lost and damages and 14000 for rent 850 we’ll be spend on blanks and ink supplies for the incoming interns. If more some reason I receive more than this, I’d like to split it up between paying rent while teaching in the fall to interns, paying it forward to another Black owned business who has suffered from loss of revenues due to Covid, and lastly to have a grant for youth to use for the movement for social justice.

Thank you in advance for your consideration
