Black L.U.V. Festival returns to celebrate 25 years in Washington, DC. Starting in 1997, The Black L.U.V. (love, unity & vision) Festival was established by artists in the historic U-street community devoted to social change and uplifting the DC creative community. This FREE one-day cultural, outdoor event uses the cultural arts to inform and enlighten the Nation’s Capital communities on education, social injustice, healthcare (testing attendees for HIV/AIDS), and issues in underserved communities and neighborhoods, domestically and internationally.
