First, we came together as community to say that this cannot go on, that we must fight racism in our society, and that Black Lives Matter. We assembled in Church Litten and made our voices heard
Now, we want to go further: to put our money where our mouth is and do our part in making real change. We are raising money for the "Justice for Floyd George" fund, a combined fundraiser for 8 organisations fighting for racial justice and equality: the Black Visions Collective, Reclaim the Block, the Black Lives Matter Global Network, the ACLU, Campaign Zero, the Movement for Black Lives, the Emergency Release Fund and the Community Justice Exchange.
If everyone "interested" in the protest on FB donates £5, we can raise more than £1000.
If everyone following the page on FB donates £5, we can raise more than £2000.
So what if we all donate £10?
Please chip on what you can afford. You attended the protest, you shared posts on social media, you've spoken to friends and family. Now help us send a message and make a change.
