Black Girls in Fashion is a growing digital media group community of women in fashion across the country and globe, dedicated to widening the scope of opportunity for black girls and women while using organic marketing and communicative initiatives to re-shape the view of people-of-color working in fashion.
Working with other creatives, we are establishing our stronghold reporting on fashion and business, through the development of compelling content creation and impactful online/offline events experiences for the community, while cultivating meaningful connections and everlasting brand partnerships.
In support of our mission, we aim to be the largest digital media group to provide compelling stories on the black creative experience, who are invested in revolutionizing the way black women and girls can showup and innovate within the fashion industry.
This fund would enable us to continue creating invaluable and on-demand content, build out our digital space, hire more underrepresented talent and begin producing our digital summit to showcase international talent.

Meet Edinah Chewe, the visionary behind our brand — is a visual designer and artist co-mingling within various fields of communication.
Driven by her passion to make a social positive influence, she recognizes the discourse surrounding the lack of diversity within the fashion industry and uses this knowledge to create compelling campaigns
and thought-provoking visuals to challenge the perception of others while creating engaging content for our community.

The Experience: Black Girls Master Talk Series
In September 2019, we launched our first offline experience in celebration of LFW for our ongoing
Black Girls Master Talk Series. We brought together multi-faceted women in a panel discussion to highlight the various ways of becoming a self-made entrepreneur.
Working with other creatives, we are establishing our stronghold reporting on fashion and business, through the development of compelling content creation and impactful online/offline events experiences for the community, while cultivating meaningful connections and everlasting brand partnerships.
