Black Family-Owned Vegan Market Needs Your Help

New Legacy Vegans is a wellness market offering various health foods and products. Our mission is to empower people from all walks of life through health and wellness, nutrition education, and holistic practices to develop a lifestyle that will build healthier families for generations to come.

We are seeking $50,000 to assist in the completion of remodeling our wellness market and to purchase commercial appliances/equipment. Your support will allow us to cover expenses such as commercial refrigeration, a commercial merchandiser, inventory, a new and improved checkout counter, permanent store signage, POS system, kitchen appliances and tools, and a commercial label printer. Funds will also go towards marketing the store through social media ads, direct mail and radio ads.

We aim to continue impacting the lives of those within our community because we know that lifestyle changes are essential to becoming healthier. So no matter the amount, your donations are greatly appreciated.

More Info About Our Business:

Our story begins in 2018 with me assisting my mother in starting her vegan journey. Her old habits, which led to obesity, high cholesterol, diabetes, and arthritis, would soon cause her to make a transition by way of fasting and practicing healthier lifestyle choices. Once she made the shift and decided she would “eat to live” rather than live to eat, in just four short months, she was not only able to reverse all of her ailments but also lose over 50 pounds!

After sharing my mother’s success journey, we received countless messages about her being an inspiration to others. The response from our community gave us the desire to start sharing more information, recipes, and products. Soon after, New Legacy Vegans was born!

While our passion for health and wellness sets us apart from others, we do not compromise on the quality of our products or the education we provide.

With a clear vision, consistency and dedication, we have been able to get to where we are today. This journey has not been easy, but it has certainly been worthwhile. There were times when we have worked 15 hour days, seven days a week, with booked events every weekend for months on end. Although we have been able to see success with online orders and traveling weekly to events, it is important that we meet our customers' demands by finding a permanent location where they can shop at their convenience.

In addition to our storefront location, we also sell on our website, Amazon, UberEats, at local pop-up events and food trucks. Our future goal is to expand to a location that will offer seating, ample space to host community wellness events, a large warehouse, and a full commercial kitchen.

We have worked tirelessly over the past four years to reach our business goals. This includes not taking a salary and investing back all of our profits. The financial sacrifices and time we invest into this business is a price we gratefully pay so that we may continue to provide you all with the very best products and education to make transitioning into a healthier lifestyle a success story for you as well.
