Black Diamond Firearms and Training, LLC is a licensed firearms dealer and gun instruction company in Charlotte, NC, made up of three partners: Roderick Byrd, Justin Lewter and Roman Townsend. The only black owned gun dealership between Raleigh and the South Carolina border, we are committed to providing the best service, education and training for non-traditional consumers of firearms and personal defense products. As instructors, we offer a community centered approach to our conceal carry classes, handgun fundamentals and gun cleaning courses.

We recently purchased 25 acres in Ellerbe, NC with the vision and mission to provide training and a safe place for non-traditional shooters to learn gun safety, proper technique and to practice  and hone their skills with firearms of all kinds. In order to make this happen we need your help. We can't do it alone.  We are asking for your support to develop an outdoor range for both training and recreation.

With your support we will prep the land and build long and short gun ranges for rifle, shotgun and pistol shooting. Though we’re based in Charlotte, the range is centrally located in Ellerbe -  just an hours drive from Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte and Fayetteville. We will post video as we progress.

 As you can see, the land requires clearing with large machines.  Your generosity will help us to build a roadway, a small creek bridge, and multiple ranges.


Donors giving $250  or more will receive a lifetime membership to our range, a Black Diamond t-shirt and 10% off there first gun purchase with us. 

Donors giving $100-$249 will receive one year membership, and a Black Diamond t-shirt. 

Donors giving up to $75-$99 will receive one range day for 2, and  a Black Diamond t-shirt.

Shirts come in women and men's sizes and Red, Black, Green, Blue, and Pink.
