Black Daddy: The Movie is a beautiful display of Black men in deep dialogue around fatherhood, and the sharing of our own experiences as sons and fathers in America. This movie was made in the hope that these types of conversations will become contagious throughout our communities, as Black men take the forefront in our own healing.

We are raising funds so that we can continue to broaden the reach of Black Daddy: The Movie and Black Daddy: The Experience.

I’m proud to announce that Black Daddy: The Movie has won over 30 awards at verious film festivals in 2022

Black Daddy: The Experience includes Dame Drummer’s award-winning documentary Black Daddy: The Movie, about Black men experiencing fatherhood in America. This project has inspired an interactive experience - part film, part dialogue, part music, and part community engagement. Through the lens of community health and wellness, this experience connects with Felton’s mission to transform the quality of life and promote social justice to accelerate community-led change. We applaud innovation as this project provides a new and unorthodox path for healing, healthy dialogue, and community connection through film and music. With shows in San Francisco, Cleveland and Oakland, each performance produced sold out shows!
