April's Medical Fund

Donation protected

Hi friends.

I am setting up this Go Fund Me to help offset the cost of my little companion dog April's medical treatments.

April has a nasal/brain tumor that is resting on the cribriform plate (membrane) of her brain, which right now, is causing her to sneeze,

have a hard time breathing through her nose,  trouble with sleeping, and ultimately, could end her life in as little as 4 months

(If Idonʼt take on a proactive role in treating this).

April picked me to be her lifelong  friend when she was just six weeks old. This has been a joy, an honor, and the amount of

happiness this little dog has brought into my life is insurmountable

My daughter Annabelle was 10 years old when we got April, and they have shared a special bond as well. To meet April, you realize how

special she really is. She is a “once in a lifetime dog”.

I cannot turn my back on her -knowing that Stereotactic radiation- to shrink, or even fully irradicate the tumor - could save her life.
  She is strong, in good health (other than this), and she has a very strong will.

I know that with the best medical treatment (Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston),  With  a great team of Dr. Jillian Walz (Oncologist),

and Maureen Carroll (Internist), and the entire (Radiology/Ongology/Radiation dept at Angell)......., that she has a very good shot at living a long,

and healthy life.

 I know my little dog is in for the fight of her  life......But there is a LOT of love around this special little dog,  and she deserves this treatment.

Please help if you can, and if you canʼt, please pass this link around. This little dog has saved my life on several occasions. She's been
the most loyal, trusting, and faithful companion I've ever had, and she's truly shown me the meaning of unconditional love.

Here is a short breakdown of the treatment she will be needing, and where the donations to her fund will helping to pay for.

CT Rhinoscopy 1 =1900.00
Ct Rhynoscopy 2+ =2500.00
Stereotactic Radiation treatment=5200.00

Piroxicam =200.00
Cytoxan =200.00
Anesthesia x 5 =1000.00

Total = (conservative estimate )..10,000.00

Sidenote- In the event that this fund DOES meet our goal of 10,000.00, and in the event that April does not respond to this treatment over the upcoming months,  I will use the remainder of this fund towards her final medical (palliative) needs- along with the remainder (if anything left), to be donated to The Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem  Massachusetts.

Thank you so much for taking time to read about April.

My immense thanks to all of my friends for your love, support, and compassion.

I will let you know how sheʼs doing through every step of this journey.
