Hey Everyone! My family and I have decided to put this together in efforts of raising money to help pay for my medical expenses.
For those who don't know my story, earlier this year I got really sick. I had a constant fever, abdominal pain, I was extremely tired, and I wasn't eating and if I did eat I would just throw it up. In all of 1 week I saw multiple doctors, had lots of blood drawn, chest X-ray, ct scan, ultrasound and was finally sent to a gynecologist who specializes in oncology.
On January 20, 2016 I was given the scariest news in my life at 22 years old. I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer of the right ovary and was told I had a huge tumor in my stomach that was the size of half a basketball. The exact measurements of the tumor were 26cm long, 19cm wide, and 13cm thick and it was still growing. On January 25, 2016 I had major surgery to remove the tumor, my right ovary and right Fallopian tube.
On February 24, 2016 at my post surgery appointment I was given the news that I had a more rare, way more aggressive type of cancer called Germ Cell Ovarian Cancer. Amazingly enough it didn't spread to any of my other organs or surrounding tissue that my doctor could find but I would still need to undergo chemotherapy.
March 7, 2016 I started my first round of chemo. I will have to complete 3 rounds, around 9 weeks in total.
As you can see this all happened very quickly and this is definitely not how i thought my new year would start. I remember specifically praying "God have your way in my life and use me how ever you see fit", so if this is how He wants to work through me then all the glory be to God! I truly believe The Lord will see me through this and is giving me the strength to fight everyday of this journey.
Thank you for your support and if you can't help financially, we thank you even more for your prayers!
God Bless!!!
