Hello! I’m raising funds for my mom, Jenny.

Due to a recent injury in my mother’s right eye, she is going to have to have surgery to fix the complication. My mother was born with cataracts in both of her eyes. She had surgery to remove the cataracts when she was younger and also had lens implants put in both of her eyes. After the incident causing trauma to her right eye, we found ourselves in the emergency room at Northern. We were not able to get any correct diagnosis from the medical team there, and they did not provide the correct care, so we went to Baptist. They were able to locate the issue, which was a very rare discovery. My mother’s lens implant completely detached itself from the zonules. This has caused her vision to become completely unclear in her right eye. She cannot see the definition in anything. My mom’s lens implant is sitting on her retina and the only solution is a MUST HAVE surgery. This surgery will involve a retinal specialist going behind her eye to cut the lens in half and remove it. After this step, a new lens will have to be placed back into her eye behind her pupil. My mother’s insurance will not completely cover the cost. We need your help to raise the funds for her surgery.
