Hi meet Kristina-

One of the kindest, most compassionate, positive, fun, loving, free spirited human beings you would ever have the privilege of crossing paths with. If you have crossed paths with her then you know exactly what I am talking about, and you feel the same love and admiration for her as I do. Kristina was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma ( breast cancer) as well as told she was brca2 positive in July of 2022 and had a double mastectomy in September 2022 to try and save her life, followed by a full hysterectomy October 2022. Her husband works very hard to provide medical coverage for his family but when your annual deductible is $8,000 and a one-night hospital stay is $167,000 things become overwhelming and fast.... we were hoping she wasn’t going to need chemo but unfortunately, she had to start her first round this past week and she is scheduled for at least 3 more rounds right now in the next few months. On top of everything else, they found a blood clot in her lung and the medicine ( eliquis, blood thinner) they want to charge $1,086. for one month’s worth She’s also going to need to be on a hormonal medication for at least the next 5 years to try and lesson her chance of reoccurrence.

 This is a very hardworking family who would never ask anyone for help, so I am asking on their behalf. Medical bills are stacking up already and there’s still a long road ahead. We are asking for any donation that you can and would like to contribute because honestly every penny will help. I understand the holidays are coming and therefore decided to go this route instead of trying to organize an event at this time. Thank you for reading this.
