Hello,

My name is Sam, and I am starting this fundraiser for A man we all know and love as Jeff “Papa Jay” Burr. A local legend around Middleborough and the surrounding South shore Areas. Marine Corp Veteran, Grandfather, and Loving friend to all who know him. He has recently become a below the knee amputee, and is in need of some help to make his home in Middleborough wheelchair accessible, while he heals and recovers enough to be fitted for a prosthetic. He has a long road ahead of him, but we are hoping with a little help from the power of social media that he can recover at home, however his at home access-ability is dependent upon his discharge from the rehab hospital in Raynham, where he is currently undergoing physical therapy daily and working on getting his health up for his long recovery ahead. As we all know, it is hard to heal away from home and your friends and family, please pay it forward and let’s get Papa Jay home ❤️
