We've offically hit $20,000! I want to thank again everyone from the bottom of my heart for donating and exceeded our goal. it feels almost unreal the love that was shown. This will be great help to us and lift a good bit off our shoulders. I'm gonna leave it up the campaign and let it float for a while but consider this goal met!

Hey Family! As many of you are aware I’ve been the primary, 24/7 caretaker for my Mom who's been battling degenerative dementia since 2017. It takes a lot of time and energy but I'm grateful to do it. It's been rewarding on levels I'd never would've imagined when I started over 5 years ago.

Recently we’ve had to take a number of serious, catastrophic financial hits. Unexpected plumbing issues required a complete repipe of the house that ate a huge amount of our savings. On top of that extensive repairs to my car and the van I use to transport Mom to medical appointments came out of left field further taxing our fixed income. Attempting to offset these mounting expenses, in the few hours during the week I have help assisting with Mom's care, I've been doing gig delivery trying to keep our heads above water. No matter how hard I've worked I haven't been able to make a significant dent or pull us out of this downward, financial spiral.

I had a sobering talk with a friend that helped me realize I can’t do it all on my own. With his and other friends encouragement I’m reaching out to all of you - my community of Friends and Family - for help in taking care of some of these bills and lifting us up financially to stable ground. I'm so grateful to all of your for your friendship and support. Your generosity will make an immediate difference in both our lives and relieve the fear and stress we're both currently living under.
