Lost everything in a theft

My ne is Mark Carollo and I just moved into the Dallas area from New York. As my apartment was being prepared I was staying in a hotel for the night before moving in the following day. 15 hours into being in town my truck was stolen. My truck was hooked up to a trailer with another truck on it. In both trucks I had everything I own minus a backpack with some clothes, a phone charger, my passport and my wallet. Between both trucks I had about $17,000 worth of tools that I need for my career (I'm a Heavy Duty Equipment technician). Along with my tools was my mattress and all my clothes as well as other miscellaneous items (TV, Xbox, perception glasses, automotive parts, work boots, ect). Currently I have no other choice but to run up my credit cards for some clothes, work boots food and to get an air mattress just to have something to sleep on at night. The money helped raised will go towards paying down my debt and helping me to get a small car to commute to work. Insurance isn't the biggest help especially when you have 4 claims in one day. Insurance had informed me that since majority of my tools are being used for work that I will only get $200 out of the thousands lost. They want complete details (which I understand) of every single item, every tool, when it was bought, how much was it, the brand, the serial number ect. As well as how many pairs of jeans or sweats, what brand were they, how old were they. Of course they want receipts, especially for my tools, those receipts just so happens to be in my tool box and in my trucks. Guess I have a long battle ahead. This is hard for me to ask for but I had to swallow my pride to make a go fund me. I'm not asking anyone for a lot but if you have a little extra it will all add up in the end. Anything helps and I will forever be appreciated. Thank you and God bless!
