We unexpectedly lost our baby boy on the 18th January 2026. One day your baby is ok the next they ain’t , so devastating , Oscar was a bubbly 7 month old baby , he had his problems throughout his life which was being worked on . He was always smiling and happy then he become ill , he started becoming pale, getting the flu on and off and was told by many doctors he was ok, despite mothers instinct he wasn’t . Hospital s refused his bloods , didn’t think it was necessary. Anyway 18th January . Normal Sunday morning our little boy was eating and drinking as usual , but had a nap a within couple hours everything changed . Little Oscar couldn’t focus his eyes , his oxygen dropped , he was going blue and floppy. Ambulance was rang and despite mum and paramedics giving cpr and oxygen he couldn’t breathe. On the way to hospital there was still no pulse. At the hospital he was then taken to resus where he was announced dead, his body had given up on him. He was let down by the nhs and doctors. I knew something wasn’t right but I wasn’t listened to enough. It’s heartbreaking . Our hearts are breaking . His sister adores him and wants him home.
