Hope for Herman

I really can't believe I'm writing this post, but I thank you for taking the time to read about our sweet boy, Herman. For the past month, Herman has progressively been losing his ability to walk, recently got diagnosed with pneumonia leaving him oxygen dependent, and last night he suffered 3 seizures that admitted him into the ICU for the next 2-3 days minimum. To anyone who knows us, Herman has been our entire world ever since we rescued him 5 years ago. To those of you who don't know Herman, he is one of the funniest, loveable, and most courageous Frenchies you'll ever meet. He's been our rock through so many ups and downs, and now it's our turn to be his.

Herman is currently in the ICU, dependent on oxygen and IV treatments due to his inability to breathe on his own from pneumonia complications. His daily ICU hospital bills are estimated over $5,000 and due to suspicion of neurological complications, he needs an MRI which ranges anywhere from $5-6k. An MRI can't be done until his breathing and pneumonia is regulated, leaving a lot unknown.

Whether it be in person or via social media, Herman has touched thousands of lives and been the reason for so many smiles and laughs over the past 5 years. This is the hardest thing we've ever been through, but we need to stay strong for Herman and give him his best shot at beating this.
