Jack Smith suffers double leg break

Donation protected

Bedlington United Seniors young skipper, Jack Smith, suffered a serious double leg break during the match against Lynemouth FC at Gallagher park on Wednesday 6th August 2025.

Jack, a passionate leader both on and off the pitch, is not only a key player for the club but also recently went self employed in the electronics industry.

With the injury sidelining him for the foreseeable future, Jack will unfortunately be out of work for some time as he begins his long road to recovery.

In support of Jack, the club has launched a GoFundMe page to help ease the financial burden during his recovery period. We’re calling on the football community, local supporters, and anyone who can to rally behind Jack and show their support.

Let’s get behind our captain—your help, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference.
