Claudia's Medical Bills

Hello Everyone,

As many of you know my mom, Claudia, was tested positive with COVID back in August. On August 18th, I received a phone call around 4:30 AM from the nurses telling me she was going to be intubated. Since then, my mom has been in the hospital for about 2 months. She is completely off the ventilator, but has a very long road ahead of her. She has improved tremendously since being off the ventilator, however she has to continue her care with physical therapy, occupational therapy and every so often speech therapy. My mom is currently at an LTACH and will be moving to a nursing home facility within the next few weeks to continue her care. Through this whole process, I have decided to take a few weeks off of work just to support her and take back the time I lost while she was on the ventilator for 4 1/2 weeks. Overall, this is going to be a very hard process. We now have new bills being added to the pile with surgeries that could have been completely avoided. Unfortunately , It is crucial to her recovery process that these surgeries are required. Taking time off of work and driving back and forth to Melbourne has been straining on us. Having everyones support means everything to me and my family. I am not asking for much and I honestly just need the support and prayers. However, many people have been trying to help us with medical bills, groceries, house bills, gas etc. Even the smallest bits helps a lot. Most importantly, please continue your prayers. We can't thank you enough.
