Hey everyone,

On February 6th, we got some really tough news—my amazing mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She’s going to need chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and radiation. We’re completely devastated.

On top of the emotional strain, this is also going to hit us hard financially. My mom is the main provider for 3 of her 5 kids who still live at home, so this situation is going to be really tough on all of us. It’s going to be a long, challenging year with a lot of obstacles ahead.

She’s the glue that holds our family together and has always put others before herself, no matter the circumstances. She’ll actually hate that we’ve made this because she ALWAYS “just figures it out” for us. Now, we are trying to step up for HER and find ways to help like she has always done for us.
