As a nurse, I see difficult things every day, and I care for so many patients and their families during their most difficult times. Now, I am asking for prayers and support for one of my own.

Levi’s story begins like any typical teenage boy. He likes to hunt, fish, play video games, and spend time with friends and family. On April 14, things changed drastically and with no warning for this sweet family.

He was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL). They are currently at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. Levi is expected to undergo multiple rounds of chemotherapy and other treatments during this initial 8-week stay. St. Jude is an excellent facility, and they’re receiving the very best care.

Please continue to pray for Levi and his family during this difficult time of uncertainty. Pray for peace and healing, and pray for the staff at St. Jude that is providing such amazing care.

There is absolutely nothing anyone could do to prepare for this unexpected life event. As nurses, we help others through their unexpected events every day. Today is the day that I am asking to help support a fellow nurse who is a mother and my dear friend. These funds will help with expenses incurred during Levi’s outpatient treatments while at St. Jude.
