My name is Kayla Edwards and I’m raising this fundraiser for my father, Dale Edwards.

A little bit about my father and his health: 10 years ago, he was diagnosed with COPD and he has reached the last stage of COPD. Some more things about his struggle: he had shingles, MRSA, bacteremia, he’s been on a respirator twice, had collapsed lungs multiple times, and has a piece of his lung missing the size of a baseball. His veins are thinning, the flow through his lungs is limited, and he has 6 months to live or less. He is currently in hospice care. He was just baptized, and a few of his wishes are to be cremated but have no funeral. So that is why we are making this fundraiser, to have money upfront for his cremation.

My father wants to enjoy the rest of his time spending with his grandkids, family, and friends. We want to take the time to thank everyone for reading, and if you can’t donate, all we ask is to share our post. Thank you.
