My brother , Joe an Officer , his wife Carmi and their three children Tyler, Emilee and Madelyn lost everything, except for the clothes they were currently wearing in a tragic fire (#campfire) that blazzed through their town in Paradise, California (Butte county) November 8, 2018. At the start of the morning Carmi leaves the house to grab the girls from school . Unaware of the severity and rapidly growing fire that she would be unable to get back to her home to grab a single thing LEAVING BEHIND her wedding rings, clothes and everyday living necessities, the comfort of life : beds, blankets, hair products , toiletries and most devastatingly the countless baby photos and millions of photos that where taken before digital cameras, home videos, 18 years of marriage memorabilia, love letters my brother wrote to his wife when he was deployed, his service awards, babybooks, ultrasound photos and cherished things that had been passed down for generations gone. Their entire life of hard work and sweat building together for 18 years gone...
My brother worked a devestating 26 hours thru this deadly fire. He was serving his community, making sure many were evacuated and saving lives in this dangerous fire. At times , not knowing if he, himself would make it alive. Unfortunately, not leaving time to grab anything,
My brother is an Officer and only has his uniform and work boots that he was currently wearing that day, Along with the kids and Carmi.
Our family is pulling together and asking for your help. My brother is a selfless man who gives his life daily to protect and serve while his family awaits everyday for his safe return. We thank you in advance for any help to GIVE BACK TO THEM. ❤️ This gift of love, is helping to ease the financial burden of starting over with nothing , so he can continue to serve and protect.❤️
