My Transition journey ️‍⚧️❤

Hi, my name is jesse. I am 26 years old and never done anything like this before, i feel nervous to be honest but feel as i should try this. I have been a part of the lgbtq+ community since i was 12 years old. I came out as a lesbian first at 14, when i got into adulthood their was always something niggling in my mind and kept giving me quiet emotional stress. The thoughts were about being a man and that i wanted to look like one and be recognised as one. Now these thoughts did cause me emotional pain and physical as their were times i self harmed because of them.

I did bring it up in therapy when i was 21/22 but never actually dived into it because i had major mental illness to deal with first and was important well..to keep myself here. I have found the love of my life and this woman has supported me from day one, i mentioned to her my struggles and gender dysphoria and that i would like to go to a doctor as i havent done anything about it for nearly 10 years now!

She didn't bat an eyelid (she's pansexual) straight away supported me gave me the space and or comfort i needed! Finally this july 2024 i came out as trans to my family and friends! i have never been so happy to let my leg hair/ armpit hair my mustache grow as much as i physically can without testosterone haha. I love presenting as my true self and honestly having the best time!

This is where i ask for any amount of donation does not matter how small! I would appreciate any help to see a private doctor to start my treatments!

My only other option is waiting 2+ years. I have waited close to a decade to be me, so this is upsetting and i know how many trans people their are in Ireland battling mental illness to just be themselves.

Like i said ive never set up a gofundme before im not sure how its going to go, but me being able to start treatment and get surgeries in the future is whats driving me to post this even with my really bad anxiety.
