Justin fighting a cancerous tumor
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Doug Burgess, owner/operator of Florida Landworx LLC. In 2020 we hired Justin as a part-time operator but quickly realized his skill and passion for machinery would earn him a spot as a FULL TIME operator! Justin and I have been friends since middle school. We grew up together working on cars, trucks, motorcycles and everything in between. We spent a lot of our time riding four wheelers together and burning up the streets on our sport bikes.
Justin comes from a family that treats everyone like family! They all have warm and genuine hearts and are the most welcoming and caring people. We have been blessed to have each other for as long as we have.
Then there's JAYLA!! Justin's beautiful little 9yr old daughter! She is such a sweet little princess. Her heart is pure gold, and she will hug you tighter than a bear, so WATCH OUT! This girl is always smiling and absolutely loves and adores her daddy. Justin is her HERO.
Unfortunately, Justin was recently diagnosed with a Sarcoma (cancerous tumor) on his leg. The details are very vague at this time, but he has spent the last 2 weeks in the hospital (TGH) trying to get answers and treatment. Justin is having a hard time with this as he is so used to working full time and spending his free time with his daughter and just constantly keeping busy. Justin does not go down easy and will fight through this no matter what. He doesn't like taking any kind of medicine or treatment, so this is extremely challenging for him. In 2 1/2 years, Justin has never called out sick or made any excuses not to come to work. This is nearly unheard of, especially nowadays.
I'm asking for any help to get him through these next few months of treatment and downtime so that he can take care of some bills and have some funds for his recovery.
I will update this page as we get news and updates. Thank you so much for your consideration and for taking the time to read through this.
