Recently, my niece survived a physical assault by her paramour. She is strong and resilient, but enough physical damage was done to render her unable to work for a time, leaving her at a loss to cover certain bills for herself and her children. She’s going to require oral surgery to fix the damage done to her. She will miss a lot of work plus dental bills.
