This GoFundMe page has been set up by Taye's older brother, Kayode, who lives in the UK. This is because GoFundMe fundraisers cannot be set up in Nigeria where Taye and his family live. All donations will be transferred directly to Taye for the express and sole purpose of helping him fight cancer.

Urgent Appeal for Treatment Funds for Colon Cancer Treatment of a Beloved Husband, Father, Brother and Friend

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Individuals,

We are reaching out with a humble appeal for financial assistance to support our beloved husband, brother, friend, and father of three (with kids aged 14, 8 and 3), who has been diagnosed with colon cancer. Living in Lagos, Nigeria, access to quality medical care can be challenging and very expensive, but your contribution can make a significant difference in his fight against this life-threatening disease.

Taye Ologe is just 44 years old, with a promising future ahead of him. However, his world was turned upside down when doctors confirmed the devastating diagnosis. Despite his strong spirit, the

financial burden of treatment weighs heavily on him and his family. He was diagnosed with colon cancer and had a surgical operation of his right hemicolectomy on the 13th of August 2024.

Sadly, the report of an initial CT-scan done before surgery did not reveal the metastatic deposit in his liver (Hepatic metastasis). This was revealed by PET CT-scan post-hemicolectomy.

To ensure Taye receives the best possible care, we urgently require funds for:

Chemotherapy and radiation therapy (He scheduled to undergo 8 cycles of Chemotherapy and targeted therapy for a period of 6 months at the Iwosan Lagoon Hospital, Ikoyi, Lagos State. He will be having a cycle every 3 weeks).

Laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
