I created this page for wonderful friend of mine, Walter Rippy. As many know, one of Walter's children was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, better known as cranio pharyngyoma. Walter's daughter, Aneisa, is only 7 years old. The tumor was discovered when Aneisa started to lose her vision. Within a matter of days after discovering the tumor, surgery was performed to remove it. Sadly, they were unable to remove all of it, and learned that this type of tumor is like cancer. It will continue to grow and come back throughout Aneisa's life. The best treatment option for Aneisa is to undergo six weeks (5 days a week) of proton radiation therapy. The nearest location to perform this treatment is in Chicago. Aneisa starts therapy the week of February 8th. As many of you know, Walter is a wonderful father to all 7 of his children and him and his wife are expecting a boy/girl in August! Walter works three jobs to provide for his family. Unfortunately, he will not be able to work for the next six weeks, as he will be at his daughter's side throughout her entire treatment. I am writing this, to reach out to others, to help this wonderful man and his family. There isn't anyone more deserving of your kindness. I put a goal of $5,000 to help Walter and his family through this scary time in their lives. Any donation will make a difference!
