Cassie Lowe: A speedy recovery

My dear friend Cassie was involved as a back seat passenger in a truck rollover accident and was flown to St Anthony's in Rockford.   Thankfully, she is now in the comfort of her own home. She is in a stable condition but has eight broken vertebraes (four in her neck & four in her back).  She also has a broken eye socket and broke the bridge of her nose. She is now permanently in her halo head brace and upper body vest and will be for many more months to help support her head and neck for the fractures. They did have to cut a lot of her hair off for the gash and the halo brace installation, which they place 4 studs into her skull to hold it steady, so she will end up with those scares as well on her forehead. We are all very thankful she is alive & will make a full recovery.  Every dollar counts.
