Elweth Dismuke, more affectionately known as BJ or Smoke Q epitomizes this verse. BJ is one of the most generous, self-less persons that you will ever meet. In addition to being an entrepreneur, he continues to work tirelessly within our community for at risk youths. He donates his services, time and talent to groom students and many of us for success. In addition to running his Barbershop, BJ is a devoted husband and father of two young men. His family’s world was rocked on Saturday, April 13th when BJ was rushed to the hospital after losing consciousness at his shop. It was determined that he suffered a transient ischemic attack (TIA) “mini stroke”. Fortunately, he only experienced temporary loss of mobility in his right arm and hand. While he has regained use of his arm/hand, he still has a way to go before he’s fully recovered. Because BJ is self-employed, he will have no income while he recovers. BJ has touched the lives of so many of us and continues to help physically transform us through his barbering talents. Please join the community as we pour into BJ in the same manner that he has poured into us. Monies will be used to help offset medical and living expenses and allow BJ to focus on his recovery and health.
