In Loving Memory of Command Sgt. Major Bobby Joe Peace (BJ Peace)

In honor and memory of the life and legacy of Special Forces Command Sergeant Major Bobby Joe Peace (BJ Peace)—a man whose profound impact through his service, friendship, love, and music continues to inspire.

Bob’s life was nothing short of extraordinary. Drafted into the Army in 1969, he dedicated 22 years of service as a Demolitions Instructor, Jump Master, and Special Operations Unit member in South and Central america. After retiring from the Army, Bob continued to excel in his second career at AMG, a leader in the footwear supply chain management industry. He spent years traveling globally between Asia and Maine, before finally retiring in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 69.

Beyond his military and professional accomplishments, Bob cherished his time with family and friends. A man who never met a stranger, he loved deeply and lived fully. Born in Detroit and raised in Bakersfield, California, Bob’s heart was shaped by the sounds of Motown, blues, classic rock, and country music. He had a true passion for writing songs, and his music told stories of life, love, loss, and faith.

Throughout his career, Bob used his music to raise awareness for causes close to his heart—especially for homeless veterans and addictions. As a testament to his love for his country, his own journey with addiction and sobriety, and the commraderie with fellow military brotherhoood he wrote songs like Invisible, Urban Camper, Boots, Nobody's Hero, and The Call, which resonated deeply with veterans dealing with PTSD, addiction, and homelessness. The royalties from these songs were donated to Wounded Warriors and sober living programs for veterans over the years.

I am Shannon, BJ’s youngest daughter, and I invite you to join me in donating to helping save the life of a frontline hero (Military and First repsonders) by helping them to afford the services and treatment they so desperatley need.

The Warriors Heart program was founded by a Special Forces soldier who faced addiction and wanted to also give back by developing a “common ground” treatment center and program. It is the first and only private, accredited treatment program in the nation exclusively treating military personnel, veterans, and first responders who are struggling with addiction, PTSD, anxiety, trauma, suicide ideation, and other co-occurring issues. Receiving treatment alongside others who share similar experiences creates a unique bond, fostering long-term success for these frontline heroes who have sacrificed so much for our country.

Your donations will directly support these heroes, helping them access crucial resources, counseling, and both inpatient and sober living services. This treatment center provides a safe and understanding space for healing—one where these men and women can work together on common ground and relate to one another because of their shared experiences in service.

Thank you for helping me honor BJ, my dad, my hero. But most importantly, thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your support will not only help these men and women to defeat their own personal battles or save a life, but will also save the life of a dog through Warrior Heros K-9 program. This program is part of the treatment and trains rescue dogs and retired K-9 dogs to become emotional support companions or full service dogs, giving them a second chance at life providing essential support to those who serve!

100% of all donations will go directly to Frontline Healing Foundation 501c) and on to help fund a hero at 1 of 2 Warriors Heart Treatment Centers.
