In January 2024, we said farewell to a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, friend, sister, and dedicated educator, Biz Kacher, who courageously battled cancer. Biz spent her life shaping young minds as a Kindergarten teacher in the Wissahickon School District. In her loving memory, the family and friends of Mrs. Kacher are initiating the Biz Kacher Memorial Scholarship Fund, honoring her lifelong commitment to education and her unwavering devotion to her students' success.

To uphold this legacy, a scholarship will be awarded to one or more graduating WHS students on May 30, 2024. The recipient(s), fortunate to have been in Mrs. Kacher's class, will either be attending Temple University, her alma mater, or exploring a major in the field of education.
