Hi. I'm Brittany and I'm collecting donations for the Jefferson Health Asplundh Cancer Pavillion in Willow Grove, PA.

In July of 2025 I went into the hospital for an emergency blood transfusion because my hemoglobin was a 5.5. For perspective, normal is between 12-14 so something was very wrong. After weekly blood draws, multiple hematology appointments, and lots of medications later, I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia. This means that my blood cells are killing themselves and we don't know why this started or how this happened. We ran lots of tests and ruled out a lot of scary things, then it was time to get treatment.

I went through a month of weekly infusions to help "correct" the antibodies in my blood. During my infusions, I received some treats from other non-profits and it really made a difference in my care. I want to do the same.

I'm asking for your donations so I can go out, buy the supplies, and put together little care packages for the patients in the infusion center. I'm going to put together little bags of treats along with some 3D printed fidgets for them to amuse themselves while they are there.
