I have a dream! Or actually two.. in one!

I wish to travel the world in a music van and spread beautiful music and Bitcoin culture at the same time.

Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and thus the international language of prosperity and material freedom from person to person; music, on the other hand, is the international language of feelings and meaning.

It's the perfect combo! To spread the love internationally!

I'm making this crowdfunding so I can buy a van, brand it with "Vide Chevalier - Bitcoin Artist" and put an acoustic piano on wheels inside, so that I can play anywhere. Maybe a whole mobile jam session will be possible!

In the streets of cities and in villages, in nature and festivals and film/live-stream it at the same time. With international donations possible in both Bitcoin and fiat.

And I also really want to play for the young, old and sick all over Europe. To make them feel seen and loved. And by being mobile this can happen more easily.

I also want to share that any financial support I receive I will use to make this project reality and serve both myself and our shared humanity while doing so! This is what my heart is longing for.

MY BACKGROUND

My name is Vide Chevalier and I'm a multi-instrumentalist improviser and song-writer from the southern forests of Sweden. And I happen to love pianos, especially acoustic wooden and original pianos with a lot of soul in them... I kind of fall in love with some of them.

And I love to be able to play anywhere and touch people's hearts with my music... and at the same time to touch people's minds with the freedom, abundance and hope that Bitcoin brings for the future...

I have a bachelor in ecosystem science; due to my love for nature I wanted to "save the planet". And I also tried many times to work in "normal" jobs, such as in mail delivery, restaurants and insurance. But I always felt out of place there. I think the reason was both that I have a sensitive, creative soul, but mainly that i didn't live up to my full potential.

When it comes to music it was always my passion, since I was tiny, and I feel that my sensitivity helps make it more beautiful and free. So today I feel it's my calling to create, perform and spread art and music in this time I have on Earth. Not to just disappear behind a desk or live a life where I'm not truly alive... But to live fully and in harmony with what I belive in, which is creativity, peace, love and freedom! So I became a street musician.

I worked in the streets and played music for folks for some summers now, both digitally and acoustically, where I put a piano on wheels and some nature decorations. I barely got by economically, but it's still been worth it to do what I love. And I believe with this work I can truly change the world for the better! I see it in people's eyes and on people's smiles. It changes their everyday walk to an adventure or a fairytale.

The music show in the video above is called Fantasia (however the piano was given away to another musician in need, so I will find a new one perfect for this upcoming project!) and in the show the audience is asked to "swish for a wish", namely mobile pay any amount with a request for a theme and I then try to make that into an improvised soundtrack.

Here on Spotify are also a few examples of how my music can sound like, in my name Vide Chevalier. In addition to playing covers, original pieces and piano improvisations, I also make sing-a-song writer music with guitar, voice and more instruments. Some of them will be released shorty on all platforms in the album "From A Hummingbird Heart". It's music about freedom, vulnerability and unconditional love. Music from my heart to yours. That is also something i'd like to perform more publicly.

While doing this street art improvisation, I realized how much value it brings to people's daily life when they walk past hurriedly on their way to the grey office building.. and suddenly they see this creation and music and their hearts jump a notch in the chest and often a big smile erupts... Also I started smiling many times from the quite random and fun interactions that happen spontaneously in the streets... It's a wonderful job and I'd like to evolve it further and make it more mobile! I want to be able to play in any part of Europe (to begin with), and for anyone who want me there... city square, retirement home or forest festival - who knows!

A few years ago I had a temporary heart disease myself (myocarditis), and played piano for the other patients at the heart clinic, and I learned that I would like to play more for the elderly and sick. That is also a wish I have with this project, when I'm more mobile and free to move around.

At the same time as a street musician, I'm a passionate proponent of Bitcoin, who's slowly but surely realized its possibilities and impacts on today's world! I want to use and spread a decentralized currency of peace and fairness, in contrast to fiat currencies which are, as far as I know, steadily losing value through inflation (even though technology is increasing, hmm...), unreliable and controlled by an economical elite sullied with war and politics.

Bitcoin is money by and for the people, for unity instead of separation.

That aligns with my values and my old wish to help "save the world" - in a way I couldn't imagine back when I started my studies.

The financial system on which we build our societies are determining how we function socially as well! If we use an international, decentralized, unhackable, inflation-free and people-owned currency - instead of a potential threat, we might start seeing everyone else in the world as a potential friend and business partner - independent on nationality. This is what will help bring peace, unity and abundance.

THE DREAMS!

Now, back to my dreams and the reason I'm asking for your help:

1. The first part of the dream is to spread Bitcoin, the currency of peace and unity, in the world. It's decentralized and truly owned by the people for the people. To help bring the money back to the ones who earn it and to create abundance and peace through this process.

2. The second part of the dream is to be able to live internationally out of a beautifully crafted van and play a beautiful, acoustic, wooden piano anywhere I want and it's needed - and for that I need to buy a Van to put the piano on wheels inside and build a mobile stage in the back. As you saw above, I've put a piano on wheels before so it's nothing new to me :) I also know how to tune pianos.

But the MusicVan would lift everything to the skies. I'll put a ramp from the trunk and then I can roll the piano out and play anywhere, improvise freely in any environment - on the streets of Berlin or in a Portuguese village..! I would also invest in a HQ sound system so I can, if needed, amplify the acoustic piano sound as well as voice and other instruments.

My plan is also to follow the Bitcoin Conferences in Europe and play there for the events, for instance in BTCprague on June 13-15 2024 in Prague (www.btcprague.com).

I wish to show that bitcoin culture can be combined with creative freedom and expression. That these two actually go really well together.

And that these two dreams can, I believe, be done at the same time.

As a kind of Bitcoin Artist / Bitcoin Ambassador and playing improvised and composed piano pieces all over the world from my Music Mobile (van) which I will brand with Bitcoin and also including the option to donate with Bitcoin/Lightning for the music while in the street or live streamed online.

WHAT WILL THE FUNDS BE USED FOR?

Mainly to buy the Music Van itself, second hand but of good quality, so that it can be used over a long time.

More than that, there will be a need for some sound amplification, decoration (like LED-lights etc), Bitcoin stickers, furniture and cooking gear to be able to stay long-term in the van. I will also use social media channels for this specific project like "Vide Chevalier - Bitcoin Artist" and use camera gear to film or live stream my music so that you can follow my journey along the way.
