St. Paul the Apostle Mission Group is a registered Canadian NGO founded in November 2017. We hope this message finds you well. On April 13th. 2024 at 10:00am the Mission Group is organizing a Walk-a-Thon as a beginning of a 12 month fundraising campaign to raise awareness and much needed funds for Bishop Giovan Cefai of the MSSP Order in an effort to start the foundation of the very first Secondary School in the region of Hunacane. We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt appeal for support in this cause that is dear to our hearts. In the remote region of Huancane, nestled in the southeastern part of Peru, lies a large indigenous community filled with dreams, resilience, and an unwavering spirit. However, amidst their beautiful landscapes, the children of Huancane face significant challenges in accessing quality education.The lack of proper infrastructure has left them with limited opportunities to learn, grow, and realize their full potential. But together united behind Bishop Giovan Cefai MSSP, we have the power to change their story. It fills me with great joy to be a part of a mission group dedicated to send much needed funding to assist Bishop Giovan in building the very first foundation of a Secondary school in the prelature of Huancane, a region of approximately 200,000 square kilometres. This noble cause aims not just to construct walls and classrooms but to erect pillars of hope,knowledge, and opportunity for the oppressed children of this region. It’s about providing them with a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive, learn, and build a brighter future for themselves and their community.
